I'm very sorry that I've been neglecting you for so long.  I'll be paying more attention from now on. Here's a sad story: I wanted to change my name a while back so I scooped up an excellent name of choice for a profile.  But alas now that we have the power to change names I can't take what I created long ago.  I forgive you for your silly rules DA.  Let's be friends again. ~Vincent.

It's  been a week since Anime Boston.  I've since settled back into normal life, and began to repair the damage to my apartment from the hurricane known as "last minute cosplay creation". My frenzy wasn't all for not since I got to test drive 75% of my new Fierce Deity Link cosplay.  Despite having two large holes in the blade, the sword was still ..heavy. In response, I'll drink more protein.  The internet tells me thats how to get stronger. I'll be finishing the costume soon and debuting its completed form at any one of my three next conventions AnimeNEXT ConnectiCon or Otakon.  I hope to see some of my awesome new friends there! Vincen

Katsucon 2011

0 min read
I had such a great time at Katsucon this year.  I met a bunch of really talented people.  The scenery at the Gaylord was phenomenal.  19 stories of balconied rooms overlook a completely enclosed little village.  From the top floor the countless colorful costumes are a kaleidoscope of skittles.  Yep, that was the first thing that came to me.  Too bad, as that makes you pretty hungry, there is only one overpriced restaurant ever open.  Besides that, the con was still a blast. Stay tuned, I'll be posting pictures of my latest cosplay soon.  My avatar can act as a teaser for a little while. I can't wait for the next convention.  Anime Boston, A

Hi there! First off great job on your Oni Link! You put so many details into it! Second, I found your page after visiting Kudrel-Cosplay's page and saw that you had made the mask for Ergo Proxy!  I was just wondering if you had any suggestions or tips on how to make it because I'm trying to make an Ergo Proxy cosplay for my fiance and that mask is throwing me off in all sorts of ways hahaha!
Hi! Thanks!

I would suggest that you sculpt the mask on a mannequin head. I helped someone the other day with suggesting the following: "The mask was sculpted with lightweight stone clay on a mannequin head over a wire frame. Each hair dread thing was made out of wire mesh and soft foam and covered in fabric.

If you are using a mannequin head be careful that many of them are smaller than actual people."
Your vincent cosplay turned out amazing! If you don't mind me asking, how did you do the mask? My friends and I are wanting to do an Ergo Proxy group and I am really not sure how to go about the Vincent mask... Thanks! :iconlainloveplz:
Hi Auradell. Thanks!

I really should get a picture of my ergo proxy here :P

The mask was sculpted with lightweight stone clay on a mannequin head over a wire frame. Each hair dread thing was made out of wire mesh and soft foam and covered in fabric.

If you are using a mannequin head be careful that many of them are smaller than actual people. Or maybe I have a big head.
haha Thanks so much for the reply! That sounds like it took a lot of time. I hope that when I finally get around to making my Ergo Proxy cosplays they turn out just as perfect! :iconfurryhuggleplz:
